Have you heard the good news? Interflug, the Parkscheibe’s famous Mixed Hat Tournament is celebrating its 25th (!!!) edition this year. We’ve been flying high since the year 2000 and are still going strong. It’s a silver anniversary! It’s a frisbee-filled summer weekend in Berlin! It’s an Ultimate Celebration!

Who
All players of all genders are welcome to sign up, irrespective of how much experience they have playing ultimate. We aim to have at least 5 female-matching players (FMPs) per team. FMPs are guaranteed a spot after paying, and male matching players (MMP) will be confirmed accordingly. This means that many MMPs will be on a waiting list. But don’t worry! We estimate that we will still have space for about 200 players of all genders!
Register as an Individual or Duo
This year, you can sign up either as an individual player or a duo. A duo is two players, at least one of whom is an FMP. To be clear, a duo does NOT need to be a (romantic) couple, and you may not end up playing on the same team. A duo is guaranteed a spot (unless our signup numbers absolutely go through the roof…). There are no differences in cost for individual players or duos.
We made this change based on feedback from last year that some players hesitated to sign up because they were unsure if other people important to them would also be able to play (e.g. if you need to share travel costs or take turns looking after kids). We hope that this will ultimately help us increase participation from FMPs. So grab your favourite teammate or good frisbee friend that you haven’t seen in a while and join us in Berlin!!!
Can you still sign up as an individual FMP or MMP? Of course! Since the number of teams at the tournament is based on the number of FMPs there may be a waiting list, but in previous years, it was empty by the beginning of the tournament weekend.
